Big day at work today. Looks like a lot of things are changing all at once. The biggest thing about this, for me, is that I'm going to be working with a larger team. Via PhysOrg.com [0], The City of West Vancouver, Canada, has unveiled the latest technology to get drivers to slow down. A photo-realistic image of a little girl grabbing a ball, that is stretched long and flat to give the optical illusion that she is real, when viewed from a distance. This particular experiment has been installed near a primary school, and only be in place for a week, and there are special signs and extra patrols in the area during this period....
Today, I gave away a second phonograph player that I own. I've owned two phonograph players for at least 15 years. Neither of them are "DJ units", just standard home units manufactured in '87 and '91. The one I gave away isn't as good as the other one, but I had bought it myself. The better one, that I still use, was given to me. But one day, maybe I would need the other unit....
